Using Finials For Christmas Decorations

Finials are decorative and festive. With so many uses, it's no wonder they are widely used when decorating for Christmas. Make sure to experiment while decorating the inside and outside of your home with finials for all your Christmas fun.

Finials make the perfect outdoor decoration. They are easily attached to flagpoles and post caps, and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. To this extent, it's easy to switch your normal finials out for more festive looking ones in deep greens and reds. You can paint them yourself, or even switch out your round finials for a more festive and wintry looking bell tower shaped one to create a winter wonderland around your home. Because finials are so often made of wood, it's easy to get creative and paint them festive colors and even get your kids involved in the action. Choose round finials and paint them holiday colors to look like wonderful ornaments, or express your fun side with artistic renditions of Mr. and Mrs. Claus! You can even create a Christmas scene on your back porch or front entryway just by switching out your regular finials for more festive and colorful ones.

Decor Ations

Decorating your home for the holidays doesn't have to be a massive, time consuming project. If you make it fun and involve the entire family then you will have original decorations that your friends and neighbors will envy. If you choose to light the area outside with some soft candle or electric lighting it could be spectacular. Then, after the holidays are over, you can easily store all of your holiday finials for safekeeping to use again next year.
